 বহিরাগত বা তারকা নয়, প্রার্থী হিসেবে চাই শিক্ষিত কাউকে এমন পোস্টারে ছেয়ে গেছে টালিউড অভিনেত্রী নুসরাত জাহানের ভোট এলাকা বসিরহাট। কয়েকমাস পরেই ভারতের লোকসভা নির্বাচন।তার আগেই পোস্টারে ছেয়ে গেছে। পোস্টারে লেখা, ‘লোকসভার প্রার্থী হিসেবে বহিরাগত কাউকে চাই না।’ কোনো পোস্টারে লেখা, ‘অভিনেত্রী বা অভিনেতা নয়, সৎ ও শিক্ষিত মানুষ চাই।’ নিচে লেখা তৃণমূল কংগ্রেস কর্মীবৃন্দ, বসিরহাট লোকসভা কেন্দ্র। লোকসভা ভোটের আগে এ পোস্টার নিয়ে রীতিমতো অস্বস্তিতে তৃণমূল।মঙ্গলবার (২৮ নভেম্বর) সকালে বসিরহাটের মিনাখাঁ বিধানসভার অন্তর্গত হাড়োয়া ব্লকের কুলটি গ্রাম পঞ্চায়েতের কুলটি-সহ বিভিন্ন এলাকায় দেখা যায় নুসরাত জাহানবিরোধী পোস্টার। বসিরহাট এলাকাবাসির মতে আমরা চাই, এলাকার মানুষ, কাজের মানুষ। ভদ্র মানুষ হলে আমাদের ভালো হয়। সে মহিলা হতে পারে, পুরুষও হতে পারে।আমরা চাই ঘরের ছেলেমেয়েকেই এখানে প্রার্থী করা হোক।
